So here's my embarrassing story for the day...
I go to Au bon Pain on my lunch break today to get some soup since it was freezing outside. It's this little hole in the wall place with barely enough room to move. I get my soup and go to stand in line. These 2 women had their backs to me and I figured they were just talking and laughing since they weren't really in line. Next thing I know one of the women says to the other "Don't you just love arrogant, clueless people who cut in front?" Something made me turn around and they're both giving me looks to kill...I look further back and see I somehow missed a humongous line of like 40 people snaking around the place. I apologized and high-tailed it to the back of the line. So embarrassing. I felt so stupid.
Anyone else having a Monday out there?

Happy New Year ( a little belated)!!
Life is busy...but so good right now. I am so incredibly blessed to have such wonderful friends, a handsome, caring fiancee, and a loving family.
Awesome, drunken times on New Years eve, spent with the people who mean the world to me.

So how was everyone's Christmas?
Ours was great! It was nice spending time with family...and I got one of those KitchenAid stand mixers in bright red! I was so excited. :)
Brian and I got a lot of stuff for the apartment, and my mom bought us a beautiful Eddie Bauer set of luggage. We also got some gift cards to go out and eat, and to Best Buy. We ended up staying at my mom's the night before so it was fun to wake up with everyone and open gifts. We spent Christmas morning at Bri's dad's having a huuugggeee Christmas breakfast, then it was off to my mom's for lunch. We had spent Christmas Eve with my dad, and we saw Brian's mom and Larry for Hanukkah the week before.
I can't believe it's New Years Eve this Sunday already....2007?!!! That's insane...it's also insane thinking that the wedding is less than a year away. We've been engaged for over 5 months now, I can't believe it. My mom and grandmother and Brian's mom are really getting on me now to start planning more with the wedding. It's fun, the next step is finding a limo. Brian wants the hummer limo, and I want the trolley car, lol...we'll have to wait and see prices and everything.

Just a quick note to say....
Merry Christmas, everyone!!!
I'm just finishing wrapping my last present, then I'm going to pack for our night's stay in RI tomorrow night. We're having Christmas eve dinner with my dad's side, Christmas morning and brunch with Brian's dad's side, and then Christmas day and night with my mom. It's going to be crazy busy. Right now, Brian is putting together a present we bought for ourselves tonight, an exercise bike! It's our New Year's Resolution to try and shed some pounds and be healthier and try to exercise more. So we found a bike on sale today while browsing at Dick's Sporting Goods. So merry christmas to us, lol.
